Rental Agreement and Trailer Information
(Inside Lake Casitas)

Staying at Lake Casitas in a travel trailer is easy when you reserve your trailer with us.  We tow the trailer to the campsite you reserve, level and set-up the trailer and when your stay is over we pick-up the trailer, dump the tanks and sanitize the trailer.  One tank of propane, toilet chemicals and RV toilet paper are also included.
                              
Please review the following information about staying at Lake Casitas.

Security Deposit - Trailer rentals at Lake Casitas require a security deposit of $150.00.  Fees assessed may include cleaning, dumping of holding tanks, moving trailers, and damages to interior or exterior of trailer and trailer equipment.

Acceptable Payments – We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, cash, and money order.  Personal checks are accepted up to 30 days prior to rental.

Rental Payment – Full rental payment is due at time of reservation.

Cancellation Policy –Cancellations made 30 days prior to rental date will be charged a $100.00 fee.  Cancellations made 30 – 15 days prior to rental date will be charged a $175.00.  Cancellations made less than 15 days prior to your reservation date will forfeit the full rental fee.

Check-in and Check-out - Check-in is between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Check-out is 11:00 a.m.  Late check-out is not permitted and will result in a $25.00 per hour late fee.

Services included in rental -  At Lake Casitas Only- Trailer set-up on campsite you rent, propane, toilet chemicals, toilet paper, trailer removal from site, trailer sanitizing, and dumping of black and grey water holding tanks.  Dumping of holding tanks during your stay is not included in rental fees.  If the trailer holding tanks become full during your stay, we offer pumping services for $25.00 - $40.00.  Scheduled pumping services may be added to your reservation upon request.

Liability for Damages - Renters may not make any repairs or adjustments to trailer.  Any damage incurred as a result of renter’s repairs will be billed to renter and withdrawn from the security deposit.

Refund for non-operation of trailer – Radio, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, and appliances are not considered breakdowns and no refunds are available for non-operation of these items.  If a trailer has problems with electrical, water or propane that seriously affect the use for camping, CTR may substitute another trailer of similar size.

Substitutions -  We make every effort to provide the customer with the trailer requested, however, we reserve the right to substitute a model of similar size or sleeping arrangement.  Should a less expensive model be offered and accepted, liability will be limited to a refund of price differential between model reserved and model accepted.

No smoking -  All trailers are non-smoking units. Do not smoke in the trailer or around trailer doors and windows.  If a trailer is returned smelling of smoke the renter’s full deposit will be forfeited and additional charges may be assessed, if necessary, for removal of the odor.

Cleaning of trailer -  Before returning trailer, renter must remove all personal items and trash from the trailer; including all food from the refrigerator, freezer and oven.  Wash all used dishes/pots/ utensils and return to the cupboard, drawer or stove.  Wipe down all surface areas and sweep floors.  If an item is accidentally ripped or broken, please tell us so we can replace it or make repairs.

Cleaning fees - Trailers must be returned in same condition as when rented.  Any additional cleaning or repairs will be charged to renter.  Cleaning fees vary.  CTR documents all damages.

Keys: Please return keys prior to departure.  There is a $20.00 lost key fee (per key).
